Mexico’s Bohemia Clásica is pretty damn good. My experience of Mexican beers is rather limited and I’m certainly not a fan of Corona – so it was with quite a surprise that when I went down to MadMex and tried this beer, my opinion of Mexican beers was forever altered.

Bohemia Clásica is not what most people would think of Mexican beers, rather it takes on the characteristics of a traditional German Pilsner. Bohemia Clásica derives its name from the Czech region, Bohemia, that influenced this style of beer many centuries ago.

With a slight sweetness, a floral aroma from the Saaz hops and a nutty malty finish this beer goes well with the spiciness of Mexican food.

If you can get your hands on this beer, you won’t be disappointed.
